Glou Studio supported The Book of Wa during a year-long design process of Refugio de Aire, a private residence and future community space in San Agustinillo, a town along the Oaxacan coast.

We co-led the design and application of a client intention and healing diagnostic, as well as visioning sessions to inform the project concept and purpose. 

Glou Studio integrated a variety of self-discovery tools and participatory methodologies –including astrological and numerological assessments, as well as local ecosystem and elemental research– into the design process to determine the key energetic characteristics, functions, and healing properties of the space. 

As part of the concept development, Glou Studio also led the identification and integration of the spheres of experience throughout the spacial design, in addition to the initial material and color selection for optimal energy flow throughout and between the private rooms, community space and greater land development.
